but adding ice cream would defeat the purpose. The whole idea
is to get the protein to the muscles ASAP after a workout. By
adding milk, or ice cream, your'e just slowing down the digestion
process as well as adding fat to a PWO shake which isnt' smart
since that slows down protein digestion even more.
My advice is to just get used to it. Actually...since you need
simple carbs after working out as well, maybe you should put some
honey into it. Or just eat some fruit right afterward drinking
the shake to wash down the taste.
